After two prolific seasons in the National League South with Hungerford Town, Ryan made the move to Wanderers ahead of the inaugural National League campaign last season. Opening his account in red and white with a brace during Wanderers first ever win in the division away at Maidstone United, Ryan went on to score 15 goals in all competitions last term, including netting a crucial late equaliser against Eastleigh at home on Boxing Day, opening the scoring early on in the draws away at Woking and Maidenhead United, and scoring a further three braces in the victories over Wealdstone, Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Trophy and on the final day of the season against Scunthorpe United.

Also finding the net in Wanderers first win of this current campaign at home to Southend United back in August, Ryan, affectionately known and referred to by supporters as ‘Seags’ or ‘Seager Megadrive’, now moves on to a new challenge down on the south coast, becoming part of recently appointed manager Steve King’s revised Havant & Waterlooville side. Ryan will unite with a Hawks squad which includes current Wanderers midfielder Jack Jebb, who is on loan at Westleigh Park until the end of the season.

Reflecting on Ryan’s time at Wanderers, manager Marc White adds:

“Ryan has been a particular favourite of mine. He is the consummate professional, has never been injured and was the silent assassin for us last year, scoring double-figures worth of goals in a struggling team. With the injury sustained to Alfie and ahead of Jason returning to us later in the season, I do believe Ryan’s goals were pivotal to us consolidating our place in the National League. Ryan’s always had a brilliant attitude throughout his time with us and I will sorely miss him. We wish him all the best at Havant & Waterlooville.”
