Dorking Wanderers can today confirm that Louis Storey will be leaving the club following the expiration of his short-term contract.
With his deal expiring on January 1st, Louis will be returning home to the North East, where he will return to Gateshead as he takes up a coaching role alongside his playing duties.
Dorking Wanderers owner and manager Marc White said: “Louis has been a tremendous asset to this season’s back line and we’ve been incredibly lucky to have him.”
“The intention was that Louis would stay until the end of the season, but this opportunity has just come up, and being his previous club, it was an opportunity for him to get back into coaching and be reunited with his friend, Rob Elliott. We’re absolutely gutted to lose him, and we’d like to thank and wish him the very best with his new role.”
Everyone at Dorking Wanderers would like to thank Louis for his contribution to the club during his short spell at Meadowbank.
