Dorking Wanderers Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Micklewright as Non-Executive Finance Director.
Based in Devon, Matt brings over ten years’ experience across accountancy and finance. He is currently Director of Finance & Reporting at Healthcode, a healthtech company based in Surrey.
Commenting on his appointment, Matt said:
“Football has always been a passion of mine, and I’m really keen to apply my transferable finance skills to help drive positive and sustainable change within the club’s finance operations. I’m hugely excited to be joining Dorking Wanderers and to start working with Marc and the wider club. The journey the club has been on is incredible, and I’m proud to be part of what comes next.”

“Both myself and the board are delighted to welcome Matt to the club. In this role, he’s able to combine his enthusiasm for football with his day-to-day expertise to add real value. It’s no secret that, after years of rapid progression on the pitch, there’s a need for things off it to be just as efficient and capable, and Matt is going to play a leading role in helping the club continue that journey.”
