We are delighted to announce the signing of winger Sam Pearson on loan from Eastleigh until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Sam, 24, began his career at Bristol City, progressing through their academy while also earning 13 caps for Wales U21. During his time at Ashton Gate, he made five Championship appearances and enjoyed loan spells at Bath City, AFC Wimbledon, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Yeovil Town, before joining the Glovers permanently in January 2024.

After making 29 appearances and scoring five goals across the National League and National League South with Yeovil, Pearson made the switch to Weston-super-Mare. There, he recorded 35 appearances, 12 goals and two assists last season.

Sam spent the early part of this season at Weston, scoring a further five goals in 13 appearances before joining National League side Eastleigh in November. Since making the step up, the Welshman has made 12 appearances, scoring twice and providing one assist.

On signing the winger, Manager and Chairman Marc White said:

“I am delighted to get a player of Sam Pearson’s quality into the club. He is a National League-level player; just 24, exciting and fits the Wanderers’ brand of football. He can play in multiple positions in high areas and is known for scoring and assisting goals from a range of areas.

Massive thanks to Richard Hill and Stuart Donald for supporting this deal and getting it done so quickly. Sam will be in the squad tomorrow.”

Sam added:

“I’m buzzing to be here and I can’t wait to get straight into the action tomorrow against Ebbsfleet. Dorking is a club I’ve followed for a while, so I’m really excited to get going and do my bit to help the team at such an important stage of the season.”

Fans can expect to see Sam go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s clash with Ebbsfleet United at Meadowbank. Play your part in supporting the boys amid a promotion push and get your ticket HERE.
