We are delighted to announce the signing of exciting winger Harry Forster, 26, on a three-year deal until 2029. The 26-year-old brings three seasons of EFL experience to Meadowbank and becomes our first signing since Frank Villares and Debra Tucker joined the club as Co-Owners.

Forster, pictured above in our 26/27 home shirt, began his career in the youth setup at Watford before signing his first professional contract in 2018 and getting his first full taste of senior football on loan at St Albans City. In 2020, Forster made the move to Bromley.

Harry made 80 appearances for the Ravens during his three-year stint at the club, narrowly missing out on promotion to League Two via the play-offs in his final season. At the conclusion of that campaign, the winger made the move to Crawley Town, where he would earn promotion to England’s third tier in his first season, defeating Crewe Alexandra 2-0 in the League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

The 26-year-old went on to make 25 appearances in League One, scoring twice in the division, before injury curtailed the end of his 24/25 campaign as Crawley were relegated back to the fourth tier.

Forster remained with the Red Devils for another season in League Two, making 39 appearances, scoring four goals and providing five assists during the 25/26 campaign. After it was confirmed that he would leave Crawley at the end of the season, Harry now begins the next chapter of his career with the Wanderers.

On making the move to RH4, Harry said:

“We had some great conversations about where we see the club going and how I could help the club.”

On what he could bring to the club, he replied:

“I’m a player who likes getting fans off their seats with high energy games, getting at players and providing excitement…”

Manager and Chairman Marc White added:

“Harry is our first signing since Frank and Debra joined the club, and he is a real signing of intent. At 26, he is a Football League player who can play in multiple positions, and, just as importantly, he is a top person.

We are very much rebuilding on the field and we know that process will take time, but we want to rebuild with players of Harry’s ability and character. We are very flattered that he has chosen to join Dorking, and we will continue to build from here.”
