Josh Taylor | Knee | Expected Return to Play – End of November

Josh returned to running this week following a minor flare-up last week. He continues to progress at a good rate and will be appropriately challenged by the medical and performance team as he builds his fitness and increases his workload. The aim is to have Josh available for selection ahead of the busy December fixture schedule.

Jimmy Muitt | Knee | Expected Return to Play – Mid-October

Jimmy continues to increase his running load and has now progressed to the next stage of his rehabilitation programme. He will undergo a second scan on his knee within the next two weeks, which will provide a clearer indication of whether the tear has fully healed. Provided the scan delivers positive results and his rehabilitation continues as planned, Jimmy is expected to become available for the matchday squad from mid-October.

Dan Gallagher | Back | Expected Return to Play – New Year

Dan has seen a specialist and has been advised to reduce the intensity of his rehabilitation programme, as his injury has not healed as expected. This will allow the injury additional time to recover before his workload is increased again. As a result, Dan’s anticipated return-to-play date has been pushed back, with a return now unlikely before the New Year.

Frank Vincent | Wrist | Expected Return to Play – ASAP

Vinny has recovered well from his broken wrist and has continued to make positive progress. Having completed the necessary stages of his recovery, he is expected to be available for selection ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup fixture.

Jack Wood | Quad | Expected Return to Play – Next Weekend

Woody sustained a minor quad strain during the warm-up ahead of the Torquay fixture. The issue is not believed to be serious, and he was withdrawn as a precaution to avoid aggravating the injury further. His condition will continue to be monitored, but he is expected to be available for selection against Braintree next weekend.
